Amb. Haroon Shaukat (Former Diplomat):: Peace deal between the US and Iran is Pakistan’s biggest diplomatic achievement in our history. It started from last year’s four-day war with India. Pakistan has averted very dangerous situation because Israel was bent on damaging Iran. However, Iran has successfully destroyed Israeli military infrastructure. Israel also provoked Iran- Gulf War bur Pakistan with the help of Turkey averted this provocation. I hope that Iran will recover from war damages. I think that now, the world focus on resolution of Palestine issue. Today, Trump gave a shut-up call to Israel on Lebanon strikes. All Gulf countries have realized that Israel is their real enemy. Pakistan needs to benefit from higher international stature to uplift economy. US-Iran deal will be endorsed by UNSC for a rule-based formula for future. Iran is member of NPT and allows IAEA observers to its nuclear facilities. So, I am optimistic about success of this peace deal. Pakistan maintained neutrality, credibility in Iran-US conflict and got sincerity recognized by the world.

Amb. A M Shahid (Former Diplomat):Peace deal between the US and Iran is a mega achievement and development because world was at the brink of world war three. But Pakistan remained consistent in peace efforts and won peace for the whole world. Pakistan done something miraculous which no other country could do as Pakistan has saved the world from war and economic recession. This has increased Pakistan’s global stature as the world has recognized Pakistan as a global peacemaker. Now Pakistan can’t be kept away from key global issues, disputes and conflicts. Even Indian analysts have also started hailing Pakistan’s major and unique peace brokering role in Mideast conflict

Dr. Huma Baqai (IR Expert):I think that dividends of Pakistan’s powerful diplomacy between Iran and the US have becoming visible because global commodity markets have responded and reacted positively to the announcement of peace deal between both the warring nations. Moreover, the world has come out of the fear of global economic recession due to this war. Us-Iran peace deal is a great honour for Pakistan, because Pakistan consistently continued diplomatic peace efforts without being spoiled by the spoilers. Pakistan carried out diplomacy with a deep synergy between the political and military leadership. Pakistan, Qatar along with China and other countries started peace efforts between the US and Iran at a time when even the United Nations had become redundant in this conflict.
