Director General Radio Pakistan Muhammad Tahir Hassan has resolved to revive the golden era of national broadcaster and serve needs of its listeners through effective and informative broadcasts.

He said this while visiting the newly established English Channel of Radio Pakistan Planet-FM 87.6 at the National Broadcasting House in Islamabad on Wednesday.

In-charge Planet FM 87.6 Imran Javed welcomed the Director General and gave a detailed briefing on the working of the channel to attract audience of English language, including the diplomatic community in the country.

Imran Javed further briefed that Planet FM 87.6 will broadcast round the clock transmission in different formats like entertainment, current affairs, education, health, book reviews, and interviews.

The entire team of Planet FM 87.6 thanked the Director General for visiting the channel. The Director General commended the dedication of channel's team.
