The search operation of expert divers of Pakistan Army and Navy is underway in Astore following a bus carrying wedding guests fell into the Indus River in Gilgit-Baltistan.

On Tuesday, a bus carrying 28 people, was travelling from Astore to Chakwal district when it fell from the Telchi Bridge into the river.

The operation will continue till the recovery of all bodies. So far, fifteen bodies have been pulled out of the river.

Expert divers of Pakistan Army are equipped with modern equipment as with the help of the Pakistan Navy team, the search operation will be further accelerated.

Pakistan Army is with the bereaved families in this hour of sorrow and will continue to provide all possible support.
