Today marks a historic milestone as the Punjab government, in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), conducted its first-ever successful experiment of artificial rain in various areas of Lahore.

The initiative was led by the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi revealed that the artificial rain experiment was carried out within a radius of 10 to 12 kilometers. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the UAE, acknowledging this groundbreaking endeavor as a generous gift from the UAE government to Pakistan.

Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the novelty of this initiative, underlining its potential impact on addressing environmental challenges. He assured the public that the government is actively monitoring the results and effects of this pioneering experiment.

In addition to the artificial rain initiative, the Chief Minister highlighted that various other measures are being implemented to combat smog in the province. He said the government is committed to adopting comprehensive strategies aimed at improving air quality and mitigating the environmental challenges faced by the residents of Punjab.

This collaborative effort between the Punjab government and the UAE reflects a commitment to innovative solutions and international cooperation in addressing environmental concerns.
