In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have demanded initiation of proceedings in the International Criminal Court against India for blatantly violating rights of the Kashmiri people in the disputed territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the leaders and organizations in their separate statements in Srinagar said that brutalities, perpetrated by the Indian occupation forces, perfectly qualify the definitions of genocide and war crimes as per international law.

They said that crimes against the Kashmiris have increased manifold particularly after the abrogation of IIOJK’s special status on August 05, 2019 by the Modi-led fascist Indian government.

The leaders pointed out that India is defying international laws by bringing demographic changes in the UN-designated disputed territory.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad in a statement said that India has martyred tens of thousands of Kashmiri Muslims to perpetuate its illegal occupation over the territory.

He deplored that New Delhi is massacring Kashmiris and detaining Hurriyat leaders and activists to suppress their struggle for freedom.

Jammu and Kashmir Employees Movement in a statement citing the leaked chats of Indian TV anchor, Arnab Goswami, pointing to the false flag Pulwama operation by the Indian government said that the drama was staged to defame Pakistan.
