Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the need to inculcate the ideology of Allama Muhammad Iqbal in the youth to overcome extremism in the country.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said directives have been issued to Higher Education Commission to include the poetry of Iqbal in the curriculum.

Ahsan Iqbal said the government will provide funds for the revival of Iqbal Academy. He added that the ideology of Allama Iqbal can be immensely beneficial for achieving the goals set by the government under the banner of ‘Uraan Pakistan’.
