Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that laptops will be provided to all talented deserving students throughout the province. 

Addressing the Honhaar Scholarship cheques distribution ceremony at University of Okara today, she said that the first shipment of latest laptops has arrived in Pakistan and she will distribute laptops amongst students soon in person.

The Chief Minister said that Honhaar Scholarships is the biggest program in Pakistan's history, under which scholarships are being provided strictly on merit.

She said that Honhaar Scholarships will be provided to fifty thousand students next year.

Maryam Nawaz said that one hundred thousand e-bikes will also be provided to students in a year time.

Maryam Nawaz announced the establishment of a medical university in Okara on the occasion.
