At the outset, the House offered Fateha for those martyred in recent acts of terrorism in the country.

Three bills were laid before the House today. These included: The Mental Health Amendment Bill, 2025, The Income Tax Amendment Bill, 2025 and The University of Business, Sciences and Technology Bill, 2025.

The Chair referred the Bills to the Standing Committees concerned.

The Senate also passed the Members of Parliament (Salaries and Allowances) Amendment Bill, 2025.

It was moved by Senator Danesh Kumar.

Other bills that were passed included; “The Anti-Rape (Investigation and Trial) (Amendment) Bill, 2023”.

The House will now meet again tomorrow at 11:30 in the morning.
