In Yemen, Houthi rebels threatened to launch ballistic missile attacks on Riyadh and Abu Dhabi if coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates attacked the Yemeni lifeline port city of Hodeidah.

The threat came as the United Nations was trying to salvage a truce deal in Yemen, seen as crucial to diplomatic efforts to end the country’s four-year war.

Last week, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths informed the Security Council that he is still working with the parties to make the rival troops' withdrawal from Hodeidah.
