Afghanistan's interim government has announced to reopen its embassy and consulate in Kazakhstan.

This was announced after a delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration Serik Zhumangarin, met with a number of senior Afghan officials in Kabul.

A senior Afghan official said Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister also conveyed to reopen his country's embassy in Afghanistan.
