Israel killed a senior Palestinian commander Hussam Abu Harbeed in Gaza in air strikes.

The violence entered a second week with no sign of an end to the fiercest hostilities in the region in years, despite growing international concern and mounting calls for a ceasefire.

At least three Palestinians were also marytred by an Israeli air strike on a car in Gaza City today.

According to the Ministry of Health of Palestine, 201 people including 58 children and 34 women have been marytred since the Israeli air strikes and shelling started.
