In Afghanistan, one person was killed while seven others wounded in a bomb blast at a mosque after Friday prayer in Kunduz province.

Provincial police spokesman Qari Obaidullah Abedi said the explosives were placed inside the mosque.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
