Taliban have said that the security and protection of foreign diplomats and green zone will be ensured and no one will be allowed to use Afghan soil against any other country.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, in his first formal press conference in Kabul after takeover, said the presence of international diplomats in Kabul is important for them.

He assured the international community that Afghan soil will not be allowed to be used against anyone.

The spokesman said women would enjoy rights and freedom according to Shariah law and they can work and get education.

Zabihullah Mujahid said there is an amnesty on all who worked for foreign powers and no harm will be done to them.  

He said people-friendly government will be established to serve the people and economy will be stabilized.

Zabihullah Mujahid said he will remain in touch with media and all questions will be answered.
