The ninth death anniversary of actor, writer and poet Iftikhar Qaiser is being observed today (Thursday).

He acted in Urdu, Pashto and Hindko dramas of Pakistan Television for more than forty years and was the recipient of Presidential Pride of Performance Award.

Iftikhar Qaiser died on this day in 2017 in Peshawar after protracted illness.
