In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India is hell-bent on turning the Muslim majority Kashmir into a minority area by settling non-Kashmiris in the territory.

The APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad in a statement issued in Srinagar reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to resist Indian ploys, aimed at torpedoing their culture, religious identity and geographical entity.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association, Aquib Wani in a statement in Jammu came down hard on Modi government for identifying 200 kanal land to establish a colony for its soldiers in Badgam district.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said the religious intolerance has touched new heights in India, under Modi-led fascist government as persecution of Muslims, Christians and low-caste Hindus has increased manifold.

It said, violence, intimidation and harassment against minorities have become order of the day in India, where Modi regime driven by Hindutva mindset is working to change the country into a Hindu rashtra landing minorities in a perpetual state of fear.
