In Sindh, all Union Councils have been linked with National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to ensure correct data of population.

The Secretary Local Government Sindh Najam Ahmad Shah said in a statement that, a certificate will be issued by the one Union Council.

He said that the manual procedure for issuance of birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates has now been replaced with computerized system generated certificates.
