Several countries have intensified crackdowns on illegal Afghan nationals, with multiple arrests reported.

According to Afghan newspaper Hasht-e Subh, the Polish authorities have arrested seventy-one illegal migrants, including several Afghan nationals.

According to Afghan International, Turkish police detained twenty Afghan nationals residing illegally in the city of Bolu.

The Turkish Immigration Agency reported that nineteen thousand, five hundred and seventy-four Afghan nationals were detained across Türkiye during the first six months of this year.
