In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has reiterated that peace in South Asia will remain elusive until Kashmiris are granted their right to self-determination.

In a statement, the APHC spokesman said continued brutalities by Indian forces in the territory pose an existential threat to Kashmiris.

He appealed to international human rights organizations to take notice of the situation and help stop Indian repression unleashed on the Kashmiri people in the territory.

Meanwhile, Indian forces have launched cordon-and-search operations in different districts of the territory.

The operations were launched in Udhampur, Reasi and Kathua districts of the territory.
