In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the United States and other world powers to take stern notice of India's rigid and unrealistic position on Kashmir and press for a peaceful settlement of the dispute.

In a statement, the APHC spokesperson said Kashmir is a long-pending international dispute that remains on the United Nations agenda and continues to pose a threat to peace and stability in South Asia.

Meanwhile, Indian forces continue cordon and search operations in different districts of the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir including Udhampur, Kathua and Samba, subjecting the residents to harassment.

In the Ladakh region of the occupied territory, Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance have warned of mass agitation if India continues adopting delaying tactics on their demands.
