Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood says uniform national curriculum will be implemented from next year.
He was speaking at a ceremony after inaugurating Kashmir Block at Islamabad Model College for Girls in Islamabad on Friday.
The Minister said the government is taking measures to improve education system in the country.
He said seven hundred teachers will be inducted through Federal Public Commission Service.
Shafqat Mahmood said 7500 of the 11,000 out of school children in Islamabad have been admitted to schools.
He said missing blocks will be constructed in government schools and colleges at a cost of eighty million rupees.
Speaking on the occasion, PTI leader Asad Umar said work on expansion of schools is rigorously underway and new schools and colleges are also being constructed.
He said PTI believes that every child has equal rights and they must have all the opportunities to grow in life.
