Caretaker Punjab government has decided to start desilting drive from 26th of this month.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi approved desilting of 15,300 miles canals at a meeting in Lahore today.

He said that upon completion, water would be accessible to three to four hundred thousand acres of land.
