Ethiopian Airlines will start its operation from Karachi airport next month to give a major boost to relations between Pakistan and Africa.

This was stated by Ethiopia's Ambassador to Pakistan Jemal Beker Abdullah during a meeting with members of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The ambassador said Pakistan and Ethiopia have already signed a trade agreement to formalize trade between the two countries.

He said both countries will sign more agreements soon to strengthen bilateral relations in diverse sectors.

The ambassador said Ethiopia and Pakistan have a vast potential for bilateral trade in diverse sectors of economy, including manufacturing, agriculture, agro processing, textile, cement, steel and chemicals.
