In occupied Kashmir, the Grand Mufti, Nasir-ul-Islam has urged the occupation authorities to release Kashmiri political detainees lodged in various jails of India and the held territory.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, he said the authorities should understand the emergency situation regarding the Coronavirus and immediately shift prisoners with small offences to their homes.

Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam said he has summoned a meeting of all religious leaders on Saturday to discuss the prevailing situation in the held Valley amid Coronavirus threat.
