Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says economic growth rate has performed extremely well during fiscal year 2020-21 despite adverse impacts of coronavirus pandemic.

In a tweet today [Thursday], he said the final figure of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) showed that the country achieved 5.3 per cent economic growth in previous fiscal due to prudent economic policies being pursued by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Farrukh Habib expressed the confidence that economic growth will continue to witness upward trajectory in the current fiscal year.
