Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the provincial government has allocated a budget of eleven billion rupees to mitigate smog issue.

Speaking in the Punjab Assembly in Lahore today, she said a comprehensive remapping of all brick kilns has been carried out in collaboration with the Environment Department.

The Minister informed that brick kilns are now being issued QR codes to facilitate better tracking and compliance.
