In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for urgent intervention by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the demand has been made by APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas in a memorandum addressed to the UN Secretary-General on the World Day of Social Justice, today.

The APHC spokesman urged Antonio Guterres to use his good offices to halt the political injustices and atrocities perpetrated by the BJP-led Indian government against the Kashmiris.

He deplored that the subjugated people of Kashmir have been deprived of all fundamental rights.

Meanwhile, Indian police arrested around a dozen daily wager protesters as they tried to take out a march from Maulana Azad Stadium to Civil Secretariat in Jammu in support of their demands.

The protesters assembled on the main road outside the stadium and started shouting slogans against the  lieutenant governor administration.

On the other hand, member of Indian parliament from Kashmir Agha Syed Ruhullah Mehdi condemned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s anti-Islam and anti-Urdu remarks.
