Waheed Ahmad (Former Ambassador):  It is a significant development that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is paying an official visit to Saudi Arabia.This visit is very important in the backdrop of crucialregional and global scenarios. I think that discussions between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and others will focus on situation in Yemen in the light of continued US strikes. Apart from Yemen, volatile situation in Gaza and Syria is also expected to come under discussion in the meetings between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi officials. In think that Prime Minister Shehbaz will express Pakistan’s full to support to Arab plan for reconstruction of Gaza. The Prime Minister will also hold meeting with important Saudi personalities and businesses and will woo them to invest in Pakistan. Arabs got united at Cairo against Trump’s remarks and expressed their support to Gaza.
