Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, Captain, Retired, Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry has directed officers to ensure effective monitoring of security arrangements and take all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of citizens.

He was chairing an important meeting to review the prevailing situation in the federal capital, security arrangements, law and order, and the operational preparedness of the police in Islamabad today.

Measures against online harassment, illegal online activities and anti-state propaganda were also reviewed.

The IG Islamabad directed that legal action be taken against elements involved in such activities and that cyber patrolling be further strengthened.

Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, Ali Wasim visited Aabpara and Kohsar Police Stations, where he inspected various sections of the police stations and reviewed arrangements for providing effective services and facilities to citizens and police personnel.

DIG Islamabad Ali Wasim met citizens present at the police stations, listened to their complaints and directed officers to ensure their timely resolution.

Later, he visited the Zero Point checkpoint, where he conducted a detailed review of security arrangements and the checking process. He directed officers and personnel deployed at the checkpoint to remain alert and ensure effective checking of suspicious persons and vehicles.

The DIG Islamabad emphasized that protection of citizens' lives and property, effective policing and prompt public service remain the foremost priorities of Islamabad Police.

On the other hand, a special fun gala was organized at Police Lines for the children of Islamabad Police martyrs, aimed at bringing smiles to their faces and providing them with moments of joy and entertainment.

Inspector General of Police Islamabad Captain retired Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry attended the event and spent time with the children.
