In Uganda, thirty seven people have died after protests erupted following arrest of presidential candidate and pop star Bobi Wine.

According to police, Bobi Wine was arrested while campaigning for allegedly holding mass rallies in violation of restrictions on gatherings imposed by government to curb spread of coronavirus.
