A delegation of UAE's Etisalat International led by its Chief Executive Officer Mikhail Gerchuk called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Talking to the delegation, the Finance Minister highlighted the deep rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

He underscored the significance of resolving outstanding issues between Etisalat and the Privatization Commission and moving ahead for a mutually beneficial solution.

The Finance Minister also highlighted prospects of foreign investment in Pakistan especially in the IT and Telecom sector which is growing rapidly and said that the Government is providing conducive environment and facilitation to attract foreign investment. 

Mikhail Gerchuk briefed his company's future investments in Pakistan and expressed readiness to further invest in the IT and Telecom sector in Pakistan.
