We can cope with the future challenges through unity only. Religious leaders are the torchbearers of the society and it is their responsibility to spread the true message of Islam.
Dr. Qibla Ayaz (Former Chairman of Council of Islamic Ideology): Islamic scholars have played a vital role to eradicate the menace of sectarian violence and extremism from Pakistan. The incumbent government has once again urged the religious leaders to come forward and cooperate with the government in creating an atmosphere of religious harmony and safeguard the rights of non-Muslims living in Pakistan. It is highly appreciable that minorities living in Pakistan are well protected and are free to practice their faith unlike neighboring India. The dream of making Pakistan "Riyast-e-Madina" cannot be materialized without active involvement of Ulema.

Pakistan is facing a crook enemy. Islam is the religion of peace, love and tolerance. Pakistan got independence in the name of peace, justice and religious harmony. It is our responsibility to avoid sectarianism and violence. The religious scholars hold great responsibility to maintain unity among the nation. We cannot be divided in the name of religion.
