International Mother Language Day was observed on Friday.

This year theme of the Day was " Languages matter: Silver Jubilee Celebration of International Mother Language Day".

In his message on the day, the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said the developed nations achieved progress by promoting education in their mother language.

Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, in his message, stressed need to promote harmony among different languages and civilisations at international  level.
