The National Disaster Management Authority, on the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has ordered 50,000 tents, including fireproof ones for the quake-hit people of Turkiye and Syria.

This was briefed by NDMA Chairman Lt General Inam Haider Malik, who called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Chairman said that thousands of tents and 2,597 tons of relief assistance were dispatched Turkiye and Syria through ships, while 36, 402 winter tents were sent to Turkiye through special flights.
