The United Nations has called for urgent action to reduce emissions and boost climate resilience before it is too late to secure a livable sustainable future for all.

In a report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said there are multiple, feasible and effective options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to human-caused climate change.

The latest IPCC report made it clear that the current plans are insufficient to tackle climate change.
