A special event regarding Easter was organized at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington, D.C.

Addressing the event, Deputy Chief of Mission, Ms. Batool Kazim, reaffirmed Pakistan's firm commitment to interfaith harmony. 

She emphasized that the diversity of Pakistani society is its true strength. She also recognized the contributions of the Christian community to the development of the country.

The event aimed to promote interfaith harmony and was attended by individuals from various faiths, religious leaders, and prominent members of the Pakistani-American community, particularly from the Christian community.

Speaking at the event, President of the All Neighbors Association, Mr. Ilyas Masih thanked Pakistan Embassy for organizing a special event to join in the Easter celebrations with the Christian community. He praised the efforts of the Government of Pakistan and national leadership in promoting interfaith harmony.

Participants of the event appreciated the celebration of Easter and bringing together followers of different faiths under one roof, and extended special thanks to Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh for his leadership and initiative.
