Russia has handed over 23 tonnes of food and non-food items to Afghanistan to help Afghan people, suffering from food shortage.

In a statement, the Acting Minister of Disaster Management, Ghulam Ghwas Naseri expressed his appreciation for Russia's humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan and said that we will distribute this aid among the victims of massive earthquake in a transparent way.

On the occasion, Ambassador of Russia to Kabul said that the humanitarian aid is for the victims of natural disaster in Afghanistan.
