BJP regime suspends five more employees in IIOJK
September 21, 2024

As part of Modi regime's agenda to deprive Kashmiris of their jobs and properties, the Indian government has suspended five more Kashmiri employees in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

All suspended individuals are teachers.

Since August 2019, many Kashmiri employees in the territory have faced suspension under different pretexts as part of India's strategy to marginalize the local Kashmiris.

Meanwhile, a report released by Kashmir Media Service on the occasion of International Day of Peace, today, highlights how for the past 77 years, Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied jammu and Kashmir have endured severe brutality at the hands of Indian troops.

The report said the territory has been further subjected to an intensified military siege since the abrogation of its special status in 2019.

The report called on the international community to intervene urgently as the situation in the occupied territory continues to deteriorate.

On the other hand, Indian troops have launched cordon and search operations in different areas of Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch and Kupwara districts. These operations are marked forcible entry of Indian troops into homes, intimidation of residents, and destruction of properties.
