Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati has said government is committed to provide better travel facilities to passengers at the railway stations.

During his surprise visit to Lahore railway station, he said corruption, malpractices and delays in departures will not be tolerated in any case. He said Lahore Railway Station will be upgraded for passengers within its resources.

Earlier, talking to a delegation of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Azam Khan Swati said private sector is encouraged to invest in Pakistan Railways under public-private partnership for bringing improvement in this sector.
