India’s notorious National Investigation Agency, supported by paramilitary forces and police, has launched aggressive search operations and house raids across multiple districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the agency targeted several villages and towns in the districts of Kupwara, Reasi, Doda, Udhampur, Ramban and Kishtwar.
These operations are part of an ongoing crackdown on Kashmiris, with occupation authorities continuing to harass pro-freedom activists, businesspeople and civilians.
Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the escalating repression in IIOJK, asserting that Kashmiris are being punished simply for demanding their fundamental right to self-determination.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas highlighted the role of Indian troops and agencies, operating under the cover of draconian laws, in perpetrating widespread human rights abuses.
He pointed out that extrajudicial killings, arbitrary arrests and the seizure of properties have become common practice in the occupied territory.
He called on international human rights organizations to intervene and halt India's growing repression in IIOJK.
