Different sections of motorway have been temporarily closed due to dense fog.

According to National Highways and Motorway Police, the closed sections include:

M-1 from Islamabad Toll Plaza to Burhan, from Rashakai to Peshawar Toll Plaza and from Swabi to Rashakai.

M-2 from Islamabad Main Toll Plaza to Thalian, from Lilla Interchange to Kallar Kahar Interchange and from Balkser to Chakri.

M-3 from Faizpur junction to Darkhana.

M-4 from Faisalabad Interchange to Pindi Bhattian Interchange, from Abdul Hakeem Interchange to Faisalabad and from Shamkot to Abdul Hakeem Interchange

M-5 from Rahim Yar Khan to Rohri.

M-14, from Hakla to Kot Belian and from Uch Sharif Interchange to Zahir Peer Interchange.
