Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has vowed to make the province an environment leader at world level.

Under Chief Minister's direction, Punjab Environment Protection Authority has been working on the Carbon Credit program for the last one year. 

The program will reduce pollution, enhance the foreign currency and promote green industry. The program will also encourage tree plantation, green technology and foreign investment.
