In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hundreds of Islamic books have been seized from shops.

The reason for the confiscation was that these books were published by New Delhi based Markazi Maktaba Islami Publishers, which is associated with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

Jamaat-e-Islami leaders strongly condemned the confiscation, stating that this action is not only unjust but also unconstitutional and a blatant violation of fundamental rights. They said imposing such restrictions is unacceptable in any civilized society.

The confiscation of Islamic books by the Modi government is another clear example of its anti-Muslim ideology.
