Punjab Government has decided to introduce Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services program for betterment of the health sector in the province. 

The decision to this effect was taken at a meeting in Lahore on Saturday, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister sought a comprehensive plan regarding community health services.

She directed immediate measures to make community health services functional.

The participants of the meeting were briefed that forty seven percent of population is under cover of current health services.
