Several Palestinians have been reported martyred in Israeli tank shelling near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City but the Palestinian Health Ministry has yet to give an exact death toll.

More than 32,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been martyred in Gaza, and nearly 74,200 injured amid mass destruction and shortages of necessities since October 7 last year.

Meanwhile, the United States has put forward a new Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire. The vote is expected in New York today.
