In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed today, against the G20 meeting being held by the Modi-led Indian government in Srinagar. 

According to Kashmir Media Service, call for the shutdown has been jointly given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and AJK political leadership. Protest demonstrations and rallies will be held on this occasion.

Meanwhile, the Kashmiri Diaspora will hold anti-India protest rallies and demonstrations in world capitals today, including UK and US, to denounce the Indian move, to what the UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues, Fernand de Varennes, has described as an attempt to normalize a military occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.

The incarcerated APHC Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, in a message from New Delhi’s Tihar Jail urged Kashmiris on both sides of the line of control to make the protest a success.
