In Syria, two fighters backing the Syrian government were killed in Israeli airstrikes near Damascus.

In a statement, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Israeli missiles destroyed arms depots of pro-Iran militias a few kilometres from the international airport and around the Kiswah area.
