At least twenty-nine Palestinians, including children have been martyred and many others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli genocidal aggression on the territory is continuing unabated for the 16th day in a row.

According to the Palestinian Interior Ministry, Israeli airstrikes targeted residential buildings in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood and the Nusairat refugee camp of Gaza City and  in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah city.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip warned of the "real danger" to the lives of the wounded and sick people if fuel is not provided to hospitals in the besieged enclave.

Defense for Children International Palestine said that Israeli occupation forces have martyred over sixteen hundred children during the ongoing aggression on Gaza and West Bank since the 7th of this month.

In a statement, the organization said the number of fatalities, including children, in Gaza is not final, as approximately 1,400 individuals are still missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings.

The DCIP said Palestinian children who have survived the intense Israeli bombardment throughout Gaza are also suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis.
