The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the attack on tourists in Pahalgam area of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement said that India   is desperately trying to equate Kashmiris’ legitimate freedom struggle with terrorism through false flag operations and anti-Pakistan propaganda.

Referring to the 20th March 2000 attack on Sikhs in Chittisinghpura during former US President Bill Clinton’s visit to India , the spokesman said India has a long history of staging false flags to malign the Kashmir cause and vilify Pakistan.

He said history shows India repeatedly stages such dramas before major diplomatic events to divert attention from its atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter has also termed the attack on tourists in Pahalgam, a despicable act to defame Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle for freedom.

The convener of the APHC-AJK chapter, Ghulam Muhammad Safi in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Indian agencies are involved in the heinous incident.

He said the widespread protest against the controversial Waqf Amendment Act has left the Modi regime in a state of panic.

He said New Delhi is hatching conspiracies to divert attention from its shameful defeat and to throw dust in the eyes of the international community.

Meanwhile, a complete shutdown will be observed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Friday against the passage of controversial Waqf Amendment Bill by Indian parliament and issuance of tens of thousands of domicile certificates to outsiders.
