In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has thanked China, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt and other member countries of G20 for not attending Srinagar meeting.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said any international event in Jammu and Kashmir would not change the ground situation in the territory where people are being subjected to the worst form of repression.

APHC leader Advocate Devinder Singh Behl in a statement in Jammu described the failure of the G20 meeting as a diplomatic victory for Pakistan.

On the other hand, global media while commenting on the G20 huddle said that such staged events make it clear that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is far from normal.

The Guardian, wrote that India's presidency of the Group has become mired in controversy after the boycott by China and other important member countries.
