Indian forces’ personnel arrest a dozen youth in IIOJK

Indian forces’ personnel have arrested a dozen youth in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on concocted charges.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian army soldiers and police personnel arrested eleven youth from various parts of Kupwara district alone. These youth have been booked under Public Safety Act and other draconian laws. The troops also arrested some youth during cordon and search operations in Shopian district.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous, Muhammad Shaif Lone, Zamruda Habib, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal, Ghulam Nabi War, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed and Muhammad Aaqib in their statements in Srinagar said the grim situation of occupied Jammu and Kashmir warrants immediate intervention by the international community.

Communist Party of India Marxist  leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, addressing a news conference in Kulgam said that abrogation of Article 370 was an  unconstitutional attack on special status of the occupied territory.

Meanwhile, UN human rights experts and defenders in a joint communication expressed serious concerns on the application of black laws in occupied Kashmir. They said that these laws would lead to more human rights abuses in the disputed territory.

Speakers at an event at Maryland in the United States hosted in honour of former member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council said the unparalleled sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir for freedom will not go in vain.
